6 Fashion Tips for Busty Women

Posted in

Women who have been blessed by Mother Nature with generous breasts know that it’s not all sunshine and daisies. Yes, we have an instant boost of admiration from the opposite sex, but being busty really is not all it’s cracked up to be. It makes jogging or running an instant drama with body parts flapping all over the place and dressing up an occasional nightmare. In an attempt to ease your life, we at Oh Industry aim to do what we do best: offer the most useful and stylish tips and tricks. Without further ado, here are our favorite 6 fashion tips for busty women.

1. High Waist & Boyfriend Shirt

If you’re a double D cup, you know how frustrating it is to wear button up shirts. Nevertheless, they are essential pieces for semiformal occasions, so how are you going to pull it off? Dare to wear a larger shirt (“boyfriend” style) and loosely tuck it into a higher-waisted office skirt or black pants. Roll up the sleeves a bit to elbow length and you’re good to go.

2. Subtle V Neck

One of the biggest problems for busty women is the neckline of their tops. Turtlenecks are horror, halter necks enhance your already large breasts even more, while deep V necks make it seem like everything is about to spill out. The solution is to wear a subtle V neck that won’t cause a uni-boob effect, but that will flatter your chest.

3. Wrap Dress

If you’ve got big breasts and you cannot lie, the wrap dress should become your best friend. This is also a great tip to avoid the uni-boob appearance and it will enhance your curvy shape amazingly. In addition to wrap dresses, you should take wrap tops into consideration. Love your body!

4. Right Sized Bra

Generally speaking, the most common clothing mistake women make is choosing the wrong bra size. By trying to avoid breasts flopping out, they go for a larger size and actually make them look even bigger. By trying to shape them up, they choose a size too small that not only suffocates them, but also makes them look worse. Consider a full-coverage bra with lift support so your breasts can feel and look the way they should.

5. Fitted Jacket

By all means, stay away from bomber jackets, blazers with shoulder pads and any other boxy jackets that will make you seem triple the size you are (and your breasts, too). Instead, opt for a feminine and fitted blazer with a single button in the navel area. It will define your natural shape in a positive way and will make you look smart and stylish at the same time.

6. Retro Hourglass Figure

If you’re busty by nature, your body is longing for retro pieces. Take the subtle V neck we talked about before and apply it to a form-fitting dress with a belt at your waistline. Dress so that you highlight your hourglass figure, not hide it.
